Jo’Nae has led a life that humbled her to great heights as a thriving entrepreneur.

 

At a young age, Jo’Nae spent a lot of time watching, learning, and assisting in her grandmothers’ salon. This training was the beginning of her journey in the natural hair care business. Jo’Nae has a dynamic work portfolio that includes everything from hair care hustles in college, to administrative positions in the governmental offices, to slaying edges in the strip club! 

 

Through all of the highs however, there were some lows. She is grateful that despite experiencing the hardships of homelessness, family dysfunction, and even abuse, her setbacks were always set-ups for success.

 

In 2018 she found her niche. A friend who knew her track record of healthy hair maintenance and styling and requested that she do his locs. Self-taught, Jo’Nae learned how to loc, naturally slayed the style, and the rest is still being written.

 

Jo’Nae recognized that when she focused on her love for locs, everything grew exponentially—her online popularity, glowing reviews, faithful clients in and out-of-state, and new business ventures. Jo’Nae is a loving mother of four game-changing children and is currently preparing to launch her new loc extension line, Loctails. Stay tuned for what’s new and remember:
